Stephen Reifenstein

Stephen is proud to be back with MTOC, working with the same ‘Dream Team’ as last year’s highly successful production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat…this time to direct Seussical the Musical. He was lucky enough to direct MTOC’s 1st musical review at the Orange Street Festival over 5 years ago. Stephen continues to be a very active director of musicals throughout Orange County, including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for Costa Mesa Playhouse, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls for Orange County Children's Theater and Joseph... for Broadway on Tour and La Habra Depot Theater. Later this year, he will be directing Dracula-la, a new musical about a vampire trying to ‘quit’ for Huntington Beach Playhouse.

As an actor, Stephen has been performing for over 19 years. Some of his favorite roles include Wally in 1940’s Radio Hour, Hugo Peabody in Bye Bye Birdie, various roles in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Stephen can currently be seen on weekends as Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls for the Curtain Call Dinner Theater in Tustin (March 2008-June 2008). By day, Stephen is Cost Analyst for Kinder Morgan Energy in Orange. Stephen’s undying passion to keep theater extremely positive and fun is inspired by all the creative talents in his life. He would like to thank all of his friends and family. To Marlena Matfeld: You are "One More Angel in Heaven", and Kevin Reichert: You are "One More Star in the Sky". This one is for you…
