      Melissa Tyler Wackerman is thrilled to be working with MTOC, one of her favorite organizations dedicated to the arts. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music from UCLA with an emphasis in piano performance. In addition her career has been focused on producing events for Disney and other corporate and non-profit clients. Melissa is currently a consultant for Disneyland Resort Special Events and has produced projects such as the celebrity premiere of Disney’s California Adventure and several film premieres. She also served as Director of Special Events for the Music Center of Los Angeles County where she produced the Spotlight Awards and a Tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber. She currently serves as the co-director of Studio 1010 vocal ensemble for the Orange County High School of the Arts. She leads the group with her husband, Bob Wackerman, a music producer and owner of Audio by the Bay Entertainment Group.

      In 1985 Melissa was selected as the Disneyland Ambassador and for one year acted as the official spokesperson, traveling worldwide and hosting visiting dignitaries at the Park. In 1983 she toured California representing Youth Focus and the California Fair Industry and performed as a soloist with the dancing waters.

      She has volunteered for many organizations including CHOCettes, OCHSA Foundation, Youth Focus, St. Paul’s Youth Choir and the Arroyo Variety Show. Melissa and Bob have two children, Madison and Mallory who both attend OCHSA in the Music & Theater conservatory.
